Since the start of this process, based on participation and co-creation to guide the design and articulation of the long-term outcomes at a global level for the change GSIF wants to achieve in the future, we have consistently journeyed together as GSIF prepare this new cycle of strategic planning.
Members of new CLT, GSIF board and staff had firstly the opportunity to meet in person to learn more on the Theory of Change approach and imagine the future together, while virtual gatherings at a regional level involved Good Shepherd partners from all countries to share and discuss the emerging priorities for GSIF in the framework of the Congregation vision for change. In September we were able to gather with a large representative of GSIF partners, Units and offices to continue in co-designing this new Theory of Change to work towards the Horizons, that GSIF intends to fulfill over the next years.
We all appreciated the openness, the sense of unity and the profound sharing during the intense and fruitful sessions of the workshops and gatherings. We all experienced an environment of respect, trust and harmony, inspired by our common passion and commitment to the Good Shepherd mission. Our wish is that with the new strategic plan GSIF will strengthen its role within the Congregation and “act as one” with all the partners that are called to respond with zeal and compassion to the Calls for Action.
